چکیده
The effect of magnetic resonance in the Faraday-rotation noise, demonstrated for first time on an atom system more than 40 years ago, laid foundations a new research direction, spin noise spectroscopy, that has been developing extensively last 20 years. Currently, most popular objects are and semiconductor paramagnetic materials, while subjects dynamics, optical spectroscopy light polarization noises. rapid development this direction laying at interface between optics radio continuously extends field its applicability opens opportunities to use it experimental physics. In article we present few episodes important stages was prepared as report XV Russian Conference Physics Semiconductors. Keywords: resonance, anisotropy, inhomogeneous broadening.

Spin noise spectroscopy in GaAs.
We observe the noise spectrum of electron spins in bulk GaAs by Faraday-rotation noise spectroscopy. The experimental technique enables the undisturbed measurement of the electron-spin dynamics in semiconductors. We measure exemplarily the electron-spin relaxation time and the electron Landé g factor in -doped GaAs at low temperatures and find good agreement of the measured noise spectrum with ...
متن کاملUniversality in Higher Order Spin Noise Spectroscopy.
Higher order time correlators of spin fluctuations reveal considerable information about spin interactions. We argue that in a broad class of spin systems, one can justify a phenomenological approach to explore such correlators. We predict that the third and fourth order spin cumulants are described by a universal function that can be parametrized by a small set of parameters. We show that the ...
متن کاملCross-correlation spin noise spectroscopy of heterogeneous interacting spin systems
Interacting multi-component spin systems are ubiquitous in nature and in the laboratory. As such, investigations of inter-species spin interactions are of vital importance. Traditionally, they are studied by experimental methods that are necessarily perturbative: e.g., by intentionally polarizing or depolarizing one spin species while detecting the response of the other(s). Here, we describe an...
متن کاملLinear optics, Raman scattering, and spin noise spectroscopy.
Spin noise spectroscopy (SNS) is a new method for studying magnetic resonance and spin dynamics that has gained, in the last several years, a considerable popularity. The method is based on measuring magnetization noise of a paramagnet using the Faraday rotation technique. In strong contrast with methods of nonlinear optics, the spectroscopy of spin noise is considered to be essentially nonpert...
متن کاملSpin noise spectroscopy beyond thermal equilibrium and linear response.
Per the fluctuation-dissipation theorem, the information obtained from spin fluctuation studies in thermal equilibrium is necessarily constrained by the system's linear response functions. However, by including weak radio frequency magnetic fields, we demonstrate that intrinsic and random spin fluctuations even in strictly unpolarized ensembles can reveal underlying patterns of correlation and ...
